Educating Future Leaders
Notre Dame Global believes that our students can go as far as an opportunity takes them. Through an inclusive student-centered approach, study abroad provides students with life-changing experiences in international education; facilitates their academic and personal growth through learning, research, and service abroad; and fosters students’ global competency and engagement.
Students will be challenged and forced from their comfort zone, but these experiences can and will make them stronger global citizens and future global leaders.

Most Christians in the Holy Land are Orthodox Christians, and the relationship between Christian communities is fascinating in understanding the Holy Land’s complexities.
Student Reflects on First-of-Its-Kind Engineering Program in Hong Kong

When Johan Rengifo ’26 arrived in Hong Kong for his summer internship, he wasn’t sure what to expect. After all, this wasn’t part of the plan. He had hoped to participate in the Japan Summer Engineering program, but as it was more designed for mechanical and aerospace engineering students, and he was an electrical engineering student, it wasn’t a fit. After talking with some professors about this dilemma, a new opportunity arose: the chance to do an internship in Hong Kong.
“Now having gone through it, I would have definitely picked Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a very unique and special place,” says Rengifo. “There’s always innovation happening.”
